Associate Vice President Foster Care - Tennessee

Marc Thompson joined Meritan in 2015 as a Foster Care Case Manager in Memphis. He was promoted to Case Manager Supervisor in 2016. Marc was promoted to Program Director In 2019. He was promoted to Associate Vice President for the Tennessee Foster Care program in 2022. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee, and his Master of Arts Degree in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Executive Leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.    

Marc has a strong passion for working in social services and has over 12 years of experience in both foster care and residential treatment centers. He successfully completed and graduated from LEAD: Leaders Evolving and Developing- Nonprofit and Personal Leadership Development in 2015.   

In his spare time, Marc enjoys traveling, bike riding, and spending time with his family and friends.
